Winner! Congratulations Neko. You've won this lovely book by MiMi, and I hope you enjoy it. Happy noodling.

So this is what it looks like outside my windows today. We're expecting about 30 cms of snow, and it's been blowing up a blizzard since last night, and it doesn't look like it is going away any time soon.

So what's a girl to do when this happens?

Well, Noodle! on, of course. There is nothing like a hot, steaming bowl of noodles when there is enough snow to drive you up the wall (of snow.) And invite you to share in the noodling, because I am giving away a copy of this fabulous signed copy of this book all about noodles by the talented noodle guru, MiMi Aye. That's a lot of noodles in a sentence, and that's just because I know how to use my noodle too.

MiMi and I have known each other virtually for years. She was one of the first ever supporters when I first started my website, and over the years we've stayed in touch. Besides being an incredibly talented writer and recipe developer, MiMi is also an authority on Burmese food. She writes the popular website Meemalee's Kitchen, and was the inspiration for my own site. I owe her a lot, especially when I was first stumbling around in the internet world, trying to find my own place.

When MiMi announced that she was coming out with her own book, I was the first one on the pre-order bandwagon. Having followed MiMi's website, I knew that this would be a carefully researched, well tested book and I was so confident in it's amazing-ness, I asked MiMi for another signed copy to give away.

This book is fantastic. Spanning the world of noodles, it has a hundred gorgeous recipes from all over Asia and beyond. It's easily one of my favourite books, and I pull it out every time I get a craving for comfort food. It is a beautifully written book, and MiMi's characteristic humorous voice comes through perfectly. I can guarantee that this is one book that you'll be using a lot, whether it is snowy or warm outside.

So what are you waiting for? Noodle on down and see how you can win your very own copy.
